Opening the Door: Financial Aid Options in the United States

Friday, August 6, 2021 at 9:00 AM until 10:00 AMEastern Daylight Time UTC -04:00

Financial aid can vary quite a bit across different colleges and universities. Representatives from Bates College, Claremont McKenna College, Colgate University, and Wesleyan University will provide an overview of Financial Aid at U.S. colleges and universities, specifically discussing types of aid (need, merit, talent); sources of funding (grant/scholarship, loans, on-campus employment/work study); the various kinds of forms (ISFAA, CSS Profile, FAFSA, tax returns & W-2s); how different colleges and universities calculate financial need, the differences between need-aware & need-blind admissions, and what meeting full financial need really means.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
