    Join us on campus

As an admitted student, we know that having the opportunity to visit campus in person can be a big factor in your college choice. Colgate is pleased to offer the opportunity to visit campus for a student-led campus tour weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings in late-March through April.

You and your immediate family are invited to explore Colgate's beautiful campus through a visit experience consistent with the University's current policies, and to ensure the health and safety of our visitors and community. Current availability will be displayed on the calendar. Pre-registration is required.

Due to capacity limits currently in place, please know that we may need to limit the number of guests in the presentation room during the brief remarks at the beginning and end of your visit. All guests in your party will be accommodated on the walking campus tour.

Access to buildings is restricted at this time, and guests will be expected to remain outside for the duration of their tour. In addition, New York State has issued new quarantine and testing guidelines for many out-of-state visitors. These guidelines for out-of-state travelers to New York are updated frequently. If you are traveling from out-of-state, and have not completed the mandatory quarantine period or met these guidelines, you must cancel your visit.

Students registering for these events who have not been admitted to the Class of 2025 will be contacted to cancel or reschedule their visit.

    Commitment to community health

Colgate students, faculty, and staff have taken seriously a shared commitment to community health, and we ask all visitors to do the same. Upon arrival, all visitors will be asked to enter the building and complete a health screening at a self-service kiosk. The kiosk will prompt guests to answer simple screening questions, and complete a touchless temperature check.

Throughout their time on campus, visitors will be expected to:

    • Practice physical distancing (stay at least six feet apart from others not in your family unit)
    • Wear a face covering
    • Follow directional signage
    • Adhere to the tour route, and remain outside of campus buildings

Your visit experience is important to us. We thank you in advance for your adherence to our shared commitment to community health. If you, or others in your party are not feeling well on the day of your visit, please postpone your visit to campus.
